Welles-Turner Library now offers our patrons two downloadable book services which can be used to download books to your home computer. Both OneClick Digital and Overdrive enable you to transfer audiobooks to mp3 players, iPads, eReaders, and mobile devices. Overdrive also has ebooks available to download to your eBook device (now including Kindles). We also offer Freegal, a free downloadable music service. To get started, just click on the links below.
You can browse and search hundreds of titles and download them to your computer, transfer them to a portable device, or burn them onto a CD.
You will need a valid library card.
You will need to download some software to use this service: Overdrive Media Console (audiobooks) and/or Adobe Digital Editions (ebooks, other than Kindle readers). You can also download the Kindle and Overdrive Media Console apps from iTunes and the Android Market.
Items on the Overdrive service may be checked out by only one patron at a time. You may place a hold on checked-out items.
